Review Time! Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara

Here is my review on the new Maybelline Illegal Length Fiber Extensions Mascara. This product can be found at Drugstores, Ulta, Walmart, Target, etc... Pretty much anywhere Maybelline is sold.

Product Details
Why You'll Love It
Build 4mm of measurable extensions!
• Fiber-fix brush has 6 different contact points with each lash for optimal fiber placement
• Breakthrough formula contains fibers up to 4mm in length
• Sealing formula stretches lashes and seals fibers to lashes
• Washable, also available in waterproof formula

I believe what the details say from my personal experience. I notice a difference in my the length in my lashes. They appear fuller, and even after it dries and a few hours after application my lashes do not feel "crunchy" or "stiff".

This is what the wand looks like. You can see the fibers on the brush. I love the way the wand feels and it's easy to apply the mascara. I got the Waterproof one and put it to the test to see how well it held up.

Just a random haul.....

I know I do a lot of hauls lol. But there are just so many products out there to try out, and I wanna give people the best reviews I can on current things out there. So today I went to the PX and just got a few things to try out.

I have some pretty dry skin and decided to try out the Olay Active Hydrating Cream. I am hoping this gives me the moisture I need. I also decided to take a break from my Clinque because my skin is not liking it. I have to be extremely careful with products that I try on my skin. So I went out and decided to try out the Yes to Tomatoes. I have seen tons of reviews about Yes to Carrots, and when I saw the Yes to Tomatoes for Acne I said to myself, "why not?" I got the daily pore scrub, deep cleansing facial pads, and acne spot stick. I also got the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra, and I got a back up Wet n Wild Black Gel Liner since mine is getting pretty low. I love gel liner over liquid lol.

Yes to Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub, 97% Natural Product. This is 4oz/113g for only $9.99 at the PX, but you can also find these products at many Drugstores, Walmart, and Target. On the back of the packaging it says "Our natural Acne formulations target combination, oily, and breakout-prone skin with Salicylic Acid to treat blemishes, lycopene-rich tomatoes to help block pore-clogging impurities, and bisabolol and ginger to help eliminate redness faster" When I saw this I felt like this is the one for me. I do have acne and redness so hopefully this can help me get back to my before baby skin lol. Lycopene benefits the skin by reducing inflammation and redness, it also helps support the skin to return to a "normal" state more quickly. Bisabolol is an extract derived from the Candeia tree in the Brazilian Rainforest. That combined with the Ginger Root also helps reduce redness faster, soothes irritated skin and calms inflammation.

Yes to Tomatoes Deep Cleansing Facial Pads, 98% Natural Product. This is also used to help prevent blemishes and breakouts. This has 50 pre-moistened pads for $7.99

Yes to Tomatoes Acne Spot Stick, 97% Natural Product. This, of course, is another Acne Treatment. You use this 1-3 times a day on the areas you wanted treated. This has 0.5fl oz/14.7ml for $9.99

I will later do a review on this product after a good couple weeks of use, unless my skin has a bad reaction. But so far my skin has had any bad reactions, which is great lol.

Here is a little swatch of the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in Bisque 8(W). I picked this up for $37.40 at the PX which is still pricey but what high end makeup isn't, right? I have seen good reviews about this foundation so I decided to give it a try. This is supposed to be a 14-hour Retouch-Free and Oil-free, but I won't be wearing this for 14-hours straight. I barely wear foundation and when I do it's only for a few hours. I don't like it when my skin can't breathe lol.

Well I hope you enjoyed this haul and if you have any questions about any of the products feel free to leave me a comment. Till next time^_^

Review Time! Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

This is my review on the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes. At first I didn't care for it, because I have heard so many mixed reviews but decided to try out one. When I first tried it out I thought, "eh it's alright" Then I tried it out a couple times after that and now I love it!

On the back of the packaging it says, "Feels lightweight like a powder, yet melts into skin like a cream." It is definitely true what they say, at least in my opinion it is. They are the right type of pigmentation, and blend extremely well. I am definitely going to go out and buy all of the colors they have because I don't have that much blush and these have made me want to start collecting blush. As you can see in the picture below are the swatches of the colors that I own. They are that pigmented in person. I love Hot Tamale, it gives me that nice natural pink cheek look lol.

Sephora.com Haul!

These are the 2 things that I got from sephora.com a couple days ago. I was able to FINALLY order the infamous beauty bleander along with the cleanser. I also ordered the Bite Lipstick set. The beauty blender is alright. I am still getting the hang of using it. I absolutely love the cleanser so far. I used it to clean my brushes and talk about soft!

These are the swatches from the Bite lipsticks. The are very creamy and well pigmented. I am loving them and actually thinking about getting some other colors from Bite. I'll do a later review when I get a full chance to try these out. Till next time^_^

Massive Ulta Haul!

So just recently I ordered some things online at Ulta, and then decided to go to the Ulta here in Colorado Springs and pick up some things I didn't get online.

When I saw this came I out, I just had to get it but didn't have the time to run out to Ulta until yesterday. I picked this up quick, fast, and in a hurry lol. I am definitely in love with these colors and I do like Nicki Minaj's music. She's so out there and it's pretty freaking awesome lol. On my nails I have Fly and Did It On 'Em. Then the new top coat that I got is the Seche Vite. I have heard some pretty good reviews on YouTube, so I wanted to try it out. Hands down one of my all time favorite top coats.

Here are the NYX Single Eyeshadows that I had gotten in the mail along with on NYX Blush. Ulta has a Buy 1 get 1 50% off on NYX products, so I went NYX crazy lol. They are all depotted so I could put them in my new Unii Palettes. I'll do a review on the palettes soon.

Here are some swatches from the stuff that I got in the mail. I'm totally obsessed with the Maybelline 24 hour Color Tattoo Eyeshadows, so I had to add Edgy Emerald and Fierce & Tangy to my collection. I now own 7 out of 10. I'm thinking of getting the last 3 but I'm not too excited about them lol. So I probably won't get them. The NYX Stick Blushes are pretty amazing! They go on so nicely and blend very well. And there's the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. I love them. It feels a bit odd going on but after they set you can barely feel it. I sometimes forget that I have some thing on my lips.

Everyone should know what NYX Jumbo Pencils are by now, if not then you should check them out. They are amazing bases or just throw on your lids and go shadows lol. They are nice and creamy.

Fly and Did it on 'Em.

Thanks for checking out my haul. I have 2 more hauls, and that's it lol. I am way too impatient to order things through the mail. Till next time^_^

PX Haul!

So I went to my local PX here at Fort Carson and picked up some goodies^_^

I wanted to try out Clinique for my face since nothing else has been working:( I also got a Wet n Wild blush in Heather Silk, the Too Faced Smokey Eyes palette, Maybelline Brow Pencil, Clinque Acne Solutions Foundation in 06 Fresh Sand, and Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me and Pink Punch.

I am absolutely loving the face cleaners from Clinique so far, but I'll do a review after trying this out for a month. Right now I am using the Acne Solutions Cleanser, so far I am loving it and already slowly see slight results on my face^_^

Here's swatches from the Smokey Eyes palette by Too Faced. I absolutely love this palette. It's my first Too Faced one, and I am absolutely pleased with it! Great purchase.

Hope you enjoyed this little haul blog. I have a few more hauls to come. Till next time^_^

Review Time! Shop MAC Quad

So this is the Shop Mac Colour Added: Eyeshadow x 4. I personlly do not truly care for it. To me it just doesn't have great pigmentation. I tried to use it one night and I couldn't get it to show up on my lids. The only one to show up was Pre-Packaged. They blend out amazingly and feel pretty smooth despite the lack of pigmentation. In the palette the colors look gorgeous but on my skintone not so much. The packaging is cute. I love little quad palettes because they're so travel convenient. I love that it has a magnetic close to it instead of those hard to open snaps lol. I also love that the front of it is clear, so you're able to see the colors in it. This palette costs $38.

Above are the swatches. I tried it with primer and without. Using primer makes them a bit more pigmented.

Self-Serve is a Satin finish, it's a deep gray color. As you can see from the swatch it's a so-so color. Maybe can be used on the bottom lashes for a smokey effect.

Pre-Packaged is a Veluxe Pearl finish, it's a muted turquiose color. It's pretty vibrant with some primer underneath it. I can see it being used as a crease color or outer corner color.

Colour Added is also a Veluxe Pearl finish, it's a bright yellow color. Again if it is backed up by a good primer or just some sort of base color it actually stands out. But alone, it takes a couple of good swipes to get a good pigmentation out of it.

Laundry Daze is a Satin finish, it's a light yellow color. It barely shows up on my skintone, for me to get that swatch it took a good bit of heavy swipes. Even with primer to back it up, it was still meh. I could see it as MAYBE a highlight but other than that I don't see it getting used much.

I'm going to try and give this palette a chance and see what happens. I hope you enjoyed this review^_^

MAC Haul

Just a few things from MAC that I had ordered and came in last night. I normally don't order too much MAC but the collections massively caught my eye this time around lol.

I have heard so many great reviews about the Mineralize Skinfinish that I
had to try it out for myself. I absolutely love the feel of it and it definitely matchs my skintone.
I am very pleased with this^_^

This palette is from the Shop MAC Collection. I absolutely love the color selection. I am definitely looking forward to creating some looks with this palette<3

These are the crushed mettalic pigments from the Vera Collection. The are AWESOME lol. If you're looking for a great mettalic look these are definitely for you lol. I am definitely going to get the other 2 sets soon. I'm actually thinking of just going to the MAC counter we have here.

Well that was my MAC haul. I'm waiting on a few more things to arrive in the mail and will just do a collective haul lol. Till next time ^_^

Review Time! Wen Cleansing Conditioner

So for January I got my glam bag and it had one product that I was eager to try. The Wen Cleansing Conditioner. I have been using this ever since I got it, and it is AMAZING! My hair feels much more healthier. I am about to get the full size one.

Basically, all you use is the conditioner. No shampoo because shampoo is known to be pretty destructive to your hair. As much as companies claim to do this that and the other, but when your hair starts to get used to it the effects just go away and you're left with bleh hair. At least that is what I have experienced. For the weeks that I have been using the cleansing conditioner my hair just feels much more better lol.

Wen doesn't have any detergents or Sodium Laurel Sulfate. So it doesn't dry out your hair. It can be used as a leave in conditioner as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to revitalize their hair. Till next time ^_^
