April Glam Bag

So this post is going to be on the contents of my April glam bag. I know I'm a little late with this post but I've been super busy. I have a post about how I'll be gone for a bit, but I decided since I finally have a little down time I'd make this post! So if you're interested then keep on reading.....

First, there's the Dermstore Lip Quench. It's a wonderful lip balm for those of us who suffer from dry lips=/ I have been using this item ever since I got this, and so far I love this! It has been helping me with keeping my lips nice and moisturized. I highly recommend this for anyone whether you have dry lips, thin lips, etc.

Next are the 2 new myglam brushes! One is a simple eyeshadow brush, and an eyeliner brush. They're nice and soft and work really well. Thumbs up from me.

Next are the false lashes, I personally don't rock the falsies since I have issues putting them on lol. But when I tested this out for the first time I fell in love. They're so light and I don't feel like I'm wearing them at all. I also loved that the lashes are fused to the band.

Lastly the UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Radium. I was really hoping for Woodstock but I am happy with this either way because I love Urban Decay. They're so nice and creamy but the down side to them is they definitely don't last in the waterline for me.

Well that's what I got in my April glam bag and I love it! I like how they listened and went to having more makeup in this month's glam bag. I look forward to next month's bag. Till next time, take care^_^

Just a little update

So for those who actually read my blog and are interested in what I do, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be on a little break. I am moving this week and will be packing up my computer soon=/ Oh how will I live?! Lol just kidding, I have a phone =P But once I'm all set up back in AZ I'll be right back to posting! I'll have tons of reviews coming up on Real Technique Brushes, Sonia Kashuk Tinted moisturizer, a re-do of my collection overview since I'll be back in AZ in a different room lol, and tons of new looks. I'm also thinking of starting back up with my YouTube videos but we shall see about that one lol. Well, now I am off to go finish packing, bleh! I tell you, packing feels like it's never ending!!!! Till next time, take care^_^

Review Time: Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque

So after about 2 weeks of using the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque, I am going to give a short review on it. So if you're interested then keep on reading.....

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now. I wash my hair every other day, so whenever I wash my hair I use it. Now the packaging says to use a max of 2 times a week, but my since I don't wash my hair too often I see no harm in using it lol. Now after using this for just 2 weeks I have noticed a good bit of change in my hair! Lately my hair has been having some massive breakage and dryness. So after seeing the reviews on this I decided to try it out. I got this from Ulta for $30 but they do have the sample sizes for I think around $5. Now if you don't have an Ulta anywhere near you, they have them available on their website or you can go to the Macadamia Natural Oil website. Now in no way am I sponsored for this review, I bought this with my own money.

Now onto the results of just 2 weeks. After my test run with this product I have noticed that I have less breakage, and the natural oils from my scalp are coming back. Now I have dyed and bleached my hair since I think 6th grade so you can imagine how fried my hair is lol. This product is definitely a huge hype for me because in only 2 weeks of use there is a difference. It smells so good and definitely not overbearing after use. I have noticed more shine to my hair too. In this container you get 8.5 fl. oz. 250 ml. of product and this will probably last a good while since you don't need to use much. I have pretty thick hair and have barely even made an inch of a dent in it. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to repair their hair. I am looking into buying the whole line of products soon, and while hopefully have a review up on them within the next couple of months.

Sephora Haul!!

So today is the grand opening of Sephora in Colorado Springs! The first 200 people in line get gift cards ranging from $25-$2000!! Now the $2000 was a long shot but hey! $25 Gift Card made me happy! Free money is always great lol. Anyways, I went with my friend Mandi aka The Lovely Nerds. and we hung out for 2 hours waiting to get our GCs, and chatted. It was definitely a blast for me because I'm going to miss her!! Who will I shop with when I move??? Or just hang out with in general??? lol. Now if you're interested in seeing what I got then keep on reading......

First up the makeup items! I was able to grab the KVD Mi Vida Loca Palette. I kept going back and forth on this one, but since the UD build your own palette wasn't available there=/ Then I finally got Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Perversion and NARS Larger than Life Long-wear Eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte. Perversion is a highly pigmented and very creamy black, while Rue Bonaparte is a nice creamy beige color. I heard many ups and downs about Perversion but I like to test things for myself and let my readers know my experience. Then I really wanted the Benefit Porefessional primer, so I got a set that came with a travel size Erase Paste in No.2 and a travel size Girl Meets Pearl for $31. They had the Porefessionals by itself, but the set was like $2 more and I needed a new Erase Paste lol.

Here's everything out of the boxes.

Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Palette Eyeshadow Colors; L-R: Altruism, Sparklehorse, Dublin, Mad Max, Drama For Yo Mama, No Regrets, Marya, and Swan Song. The palette also cam with a travel size Autograph Pencil in Wonderchild.

Swatches of everything; L-R: same as above along with Wonderchild, Perversion and Rue Bonaparte.
Overall first impression of the palette, shadows are nicely pigmented and smooth. Great blend-ability, and wonderful color selection.

Now for miscellaneous items; I chose to get the Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner to just try out and I'll do a later review on that after I've tested it out. Next I just got a basic sharpener since my son hid all of mine which I'll probably find during packing lol, then I got a little Tweezerman Slanted Tweezers since all of mine are crap and I lost my other slanted one, and lastly I got a Precision Pore Cleansing Pad; now I love my Sephora exfoliator but I wanted to give this a try.

And lastly for spending $50 or more they would give you a Sephora Tote Bag which I love! and will definitely get use out of, and a Sephora Advanced Airbrush Set as a surprise gift! I love it all but then again who doesn't love free stuff? Especially brushes lol.

L-R: Powder, Precision Foundation, Concealer, Crease, and Shadow.

Well I hope you enjoyed reading. If you're in Colorado Springs check it out! It's at The Promenade Shops at Briargate! And so everyone knows, I did buy all of this with my own money and shall I say money well spent for me lol. Till next time, take care^_^

Makeup Collection: Palettes

This is my in depth palette collection. I've depotted my Urban Decay Palettes to save up some space. So if you're interested then keep on reading...........  In the above pictures I have all of my custom palettes with depotted items and my mark. palette.

In my Z Palette I have my depotted Naked palette, Naked2 palette, Book of Shadows IV, and half of the Fun palette.

These are my mark. shadows and one blush. When you buy these they are just the pans and you have to buy the palettes separately.

My pink Unii palette is home to some pressed pigments. I hated the massive fallout you get with pigments so I decided to press some of my sample pigments. Then there's the other half of the Fun palette from UD, Hoola Bronzer, my one MAC Shadow in Bamboo and the rest are pressed pigments.

In my black Unii palette I have all of my depotted NYX shadows. In the little pans below are 2 shadows I loved from the 120 palettes, and 2 more pressed pigments.

My only KVD palette, this is the Rock n Roll Palette. I received this one from a swap and have yet to use it lol.

I absolutely LOVE my Sugarpill Burning Heart Palette.

This would be my Sugarpill Sweet Heart Palette. Recently I decided to swap this for a MAC Blush because it doesn't get as much love as my Burning Heart Palette and it needed a new home where it would get more use, but I may end up just buying a new one later down the line.

This is the Creative Me #1 Palette from Coastal Scents. I just recently got this and I love it. I chose it for the color variety that it has. The great thing about this is that you can pop out the shadows. I find this so convenient because if you love some shadows more than others and you hit pan you can easily replace them when you get hot pots from CS.

These are my mark. flip kit palettes. This side is the shadows and blush.

This is the other side of the flip kits. This has the lip glosses and cream shadows.

These are my face palettes. I love blush palettes. I feel as if you save more money when buying these palettes.

Well these are my palettes. I hope you enjoyed reading this. Next up will be my lip collection. Till next time, take care!

Makeup Collection: Overview

This my makeup collection overview. I previously posted this but decided to rearrange things so I am re-doing it. If you're interested then keep on reading....

Starting with what's on top of the desk. Here I have makeup removers, setting sprays, fix+, brushes ranging from sigma to e.l.f. to sedona lace to crown brushes, and of course my beauty blender! I love that little pink sponge lol.

Next we have my various palettes, travel brushes, and eyelash curlers.

The up top is all of my skincare items, perfumes, lotions, and beauty blender cleaner.

This is my center draw that is home to all of my makeup. Lipsticks, bronzers, blushes, primers, powders, foundations, pigments, concealers, cream shadows, bases and gel liners.

This is the right drawer that stores all of my mascara, eye liners, lip pencils, glosses, glitter liners, eye shadow sticks, brow powder, brow pencils, random eos lip balm, and one cream liner.

This is the drawer on the left that holds all of my miscellaneous items. Such as tape, brush guards, tweezers, razors, extras, scissors, etc.

Well that is my collection overview. I'll be doing an in depth series on everything starting with the palettes. Till next time, take care! ^_^

Collective Haul: MAC, Ulta, and Target

So today I decided to make a trip to Ulta, the MAC counter, and Target. If you're interested in seeing what I got then keep on reading ^_^

The first place I went to was Ulta. I grabbed a Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Bold Gold. I have been searching high and low for this color lol. I just need Audacious Asphalt and Too Cool then I'll have all 10 lol. These are my holy grail go to shadows for a quick and easy eye look when I'm short on time.
I also grabbed the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque. I have heard tons of people on YouTube rave about this so I decided to give it a try. I'll be doing a  review on it in a few weeks.

Next stop was the MAC counter in Dillard's. I have been on a MAC lipstick kick lately and when I say these shades online I had to have them! They are from the new Reel Sexy Collection that just launched in stores April 5th! I really wanted 1 more l/s but they were already sold out :( I got the shades Watch Me Simmer which had previously came out in the Shop MAC Cook Mac Collection. It's a pretty coral-y pink color, it's an amplified creme l/s. I also grabbed Heroine which is a gorgeous purple color, it's a matte l/s. I am so in love with this color lol. Bold lips are becoming a new thing for me, that I'll be sticking with for a while.

Here are the swatches of everything. My flash sort of washed out the colors, bleh! I'm going to attempt to get Reel Sexy l/s if they restock it at the counter. If not then I'm sure there will be dupe either from MAC or some other brand.

Next is Target, my hubby bought me a train case that I have been NEEDING! Now I attempted to fit all of my cosmetics in it but horribly failed :( lol. When I start working towards becoming a MUA I'll definitely need a bigger one. I chose to get the Caboodles Goddess Train Case. It is this nice silver case and is 12" at least that's what it says.

Inside it has the signature Caboodles design. I absolutely love it lol. It's great for travel, and I'll definitely get great use out of it soon.

Hoped you enjoyed reading. Soon my makeup collection will be up, I had to re-organize everything lol. I'm definitely a perfectionist when it comes to my makeup ^_^ Till next time take care!
