Review Time! Shop MAC Quad

So this is the Shop Mac Colour Added: Eyeshadow x 4. I personlly do not truly care for it. To me it just doesn't have great pigmentation. I tried to use it one night and I couldn't get it to show up on my lids. The only one to show up was Pre-Packaged. They blend out amazingly and feel pretty smooth despite the lack of pigmentation. In the palette the colors look gorgeous but on my skintone not so much. The packaging is cute. I love little quad palettes because they're so travel convenient. I love that it has a magnetic close to it instead of those hard to open snaps lol. I also love that the front of it is clear, so you're able to see the colors in it. This palette costs $38.

Above are the swatches. I tried it with primer and without. Using primer makes them a bit more pigmented.

Self-Serve is a Satin finish, it's a deep gray color. As you can see from the swatch it's a so-so color. Maybe can be used on the bottom lashes for a smokey effect.

Pre-Packaged is a Veluxe Pearl finish, it's a muted turquiose color. It's pretty vibrant with some primer underneath it. I can see it being used as a crease color or outer corner color.

Colour Added is also a Veluxe Pearl finish, it's a bright yellow color. Again if it is backed up by a good primer or just some sort of base color it actually stands out. But alone, it takes a couple of good swipes to get a good pigmentation out of it.

Laundry Daze is a Satin finish, it's a light yellow color. It barely shows up on my skintone, for me to get that swatch it took a good bit of heavy swipes. Even with primer to back it up, it was still meh. I could see it as MAYBE a highlight but other than that I don't see it getting used much.

I'm going to try and give this palette a chance and see what happens. I hope you enjoyed this review^_^
